You're in the Right Place If

You've stopped walking your dog because it's too stressful
Your dog lunges, barks, or pulls uncontrollably at other dogs or people
Other people cross the street when they see you coming
You feel embarrassed, frustrated, or scared during walks
You've tried other training and it didn't work
You've been told your dog is a "lost cause" — and you're not ready to accept that

You're not alone. Reactivity is one of the most common issues we treat — and one of the most responsive to the right approach.

What Is Reactivity?

Most reactive dogs aren't dangerous — they're overwhelmed.

What You See What Your Dog Is Feeling
Lunging toward other dogs Frustration, overstimulation, or fear
Barking and growling on leash "I need space!" or "I can't handle this!"
Pulling to get away Fear, panic, overwhelm
Stiff body, hackling Anxiety, hyperarousal

The good news: Reactivity is a learned emotional response — and learned responses can be changed with the right training.

How We Train Reactive Dogs

We don't flood your dog or force them to "face their fears." We build a structured, balanced program that teaches new coping skills.

Comprehensive behavior evaluation — triggers, thresholds, body language, history
Obedience foundation — reliable commands give you a common language under pressure
Threshold management — teaching your dog to think instead of react
Controlled exposure — structured introductions at safe distances
21-day stay in our climate-controlled home — not a kennel
Your dog is loved, cared for, and part of our pack for the full 3 weeks
Socialization with Koda & Enzo — our trained pack dogs serve as calm, stable role models
Real-world practice — parks, sidewalks, and real distractions
E-collar and prong collar included (if appropriate for your dog)
1.5-2 hour owner transfer session — we teach YOU how to read and manage your dog
Progress photos and updates throughout the stay
Follow-up support — because the real world doesn't stop testing you after graduation

Your Dog's Secret Weapon: Koda & Enzo

Our trained pack dogs serve as calm, neutral role models during socialization work. Your reactive dog learns that other dogs don't have to be scary — by practicing with dogs who are stable, predictable, and safe.

This controlled socialization is something most trainers can't offer — and it's one of the biggest accelerators for reactive dog recovery.

Before and After

Before After
Walks are a battle You walk confidently, even past other dogs
You avoid parks and other dogs Your dog looks to YOU for guidance
You feel isolated and exhausted Walks are enjoyable again — for both of you
Other trainers gave up You have the tools to handle anything

Where Your Dog Stays

A real home, not a kennel. Especially important for reactive dogs who need a low-stress environment to heal.

Home Environment

Quiet, calm home — not a stressful facility with barking dogs. Critical for reactive dog recovery.

Climate Controlled

AC in summer, heating in winter. Always comfortable, never in extreme temperatures.

Loved & Cared For

A dog that feels safe learns faster. Genuine care alongside training.

Koda & Enzo

Calm, stable pack dogs who serve as role models for socialization work.

Real-World Outings

Controlled exposure in parks, sidewalks, and public spaces at safe distances.

Small Group Size

Only a small number of dogs at a time — essential for reactive dogs.

"This isn't a facility — it's a home. Your dog eats with us, trains with us, and relaxes with us. That's why our dogs come home not just trained, but genuinely happier."

Reactive Dog Training FAQ

Is my dog aggressive or reactive?
Most dogs we work with are reactive, not aggressive. Reactivity looks scary but is usually driven by fear, frustration, or overstimulation — not a desire to harm. We'll assess during your evaluation.
Can reactivity be cured?
Reactivity can be dramatically reduced and managed to the point where it no longer impacts daily life. Some dogs learn to completely ignore former triggers. Others learn to look to their handler instead of reacting. We'll set realistic expectations during your consultation.
My dog has bitten before. Can you still help?
Yes, but we need to discuss the history in detail. Dogs with bite history require a more careful approach — and that's something we specialize in. Be honest so we can build the right plan.
My dog is only reactive on leash. Is that normal?
Yes — leash reactivity is the most common form. The leash restricts your dog's ability to create distance, which increases frustration and fear. It's also one of the most treatable forms.

Investment: $3,900

Need more time? Some dogs with severe reactivity benefit from a 4th or 5th week. Additional weeks are $1,000 each.
